Applying to fashion school? We’re here to help.
From deciphering application requirements to honing your skills and knowing what it takes to stand out to admissions, the portfolio process can seem daunting. Our pre-college portfolio prep program will help guide you through. We work with students primarily in their Sophomore, Junior, and Senior year of high school to craft a portfolio that showcases their full potential.
Our students have been accepted to Parsons, FIT, Marist, High School of Fashion Industries, the Art and Design High School, and more. Feel free to email us for more info on getting started!
What makes a great portfolio?
Tell your story.
A stand-out portfolio takes your viewer on a journey from concept to creation. We work with you to dive deep into research, materials, sketching, designing, and presentation to push your work to its potential.
The Portfolio Prep Program is designed to make the work enjoyable. The college application process can be intense - so starting early is key. Please see some more details of the program structure below.
The Group Class
For applicants looking to build a body of work and with more than 3 months before deadlines
In partnership with The Fashion Class, our portfolio group class runs in 6-week session blocks throughout the school year. Each session covers a different approach to the design process - from fabric manipulation and silhouette design to technical sketching and fashion illustration.
Working alongside other creatives offers the opportunity for mutual growth - peer and instructor feedback, and seeing the ways that others approach the design process, are key factors of improvement for artists. If you have more than 3 months until your deadline, we strongly recommend joining this class!
These projects are geared to get you into the fashion school of your choice.
The 2025-2026 class runs from 4-5:30 on Mondays (UWS) and Thursdays (UES).
Private Sessions
For applicants with individual working styles or less than 3 months before deadlines
If you’d like to book a private session, please book here. If your deadline is within the next 3-6 months, we will work with you to build a timeline and plan to ensure your work satisfies your target schools’ requirements.
Private sessions take place at our DUMBO studio in Brooklyn.
**Please note that all sessions are support for work done by YOU - we offer high quality education and feedback to push your work to its full potential, but do not complete any of the work for you. All work submitted to schools will be 100% your own.
